The Baddow Camera Club provides a friendly environment in which to improve your photography. Our members are a mixture of seasoned amateurs and people of all ages new to the world of photography. We are a member of the East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies (EAF) and the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB).

We hold practical sessions throughout the local Essex area along with competitions, talks, and training each week in the Reading Rooms, Great Baddow (Bell Street, CM2 7JR), unless otherwise stated in the programme. All the latest information on club activities can be found by clicking here, along with summaries of events here.

Photography opportunities

Chelmsford Ladies Rugby Club are looking for photographers to record their practise sessions and competition events. The event schedule can be found here. Please contact chairman@baddowcameraclub.co.uk for more details.

Astro photography - poor weather prevented this session in the summer, so look out for a new moon and no clouds on a Friday night and gather some members to keep you company.

Advance notice
We have a couple of print challenges coming up which take a bit of advance planning.
On 12th November 2024 we have a Monochrome Print Challenge. Full details can be found using this link.
On Awards night (3rd December 2024), we have a series of print challenges (Landscape, Portrait, and Wildlife). Full details can be found using this link.

More information for events is available on the Baddow Camera Club members Facebook page and in an email newsletter from our chairman.

THE TENUOUS LINK CHALLENGE

Jon Wade has continued the challenge of 'The Tenuous Link' with this photo 'Caipirinhal'. This is a cocktail made from cachaca, sugar and limes, with lots of ice, which is very popular on the beaches of Brazil. Follow the challenge here.
