Bringing Photography to Life
The Baddow Camera Club provides a friendly environment in which to improve your photography. Our members are a mixture of beginners, seasoned amateurs, and professional photographers. You only need a passion for photography to join!
Our core mission: To help members improve their photography through friendly competition and shared knowledge
Our Meetings
We hold practical sessions, competitions, talks, and training each week in the Reading Rooms, Great Baddow (4 Bell Street, CM2 7JR), unless otherwise stated in the programme.
The club opens at 7:45 pm for an 8pm start, and finishes by 10pm. We usually have a social drink after at a local pub. See the Club Calendar.
Membership
If you are interested in checking us out, you are welcome to attend three consecutive meetings for free. We encourage you to then take the next step and become a member of our great club. Please check the Contact page to get in touch.
Cost of membership is typically 3 block payments in January, April and September. This payment structure ensures we can book professional competition judges and speakers well in advance to provide the best experience for club members. If you wish to join mid-block then we can pro-rata the charge accordingly. Tea and biscuits are included in your membership! See the How to Join page for more information.
